To promote, preserve and protect Country Dance worldwide. The IDSF recognizes the UCWDC(R) as the sole worldwide representative of the sports of Country Western Dance and Line Dance and the UCWDC's right and obligation to govern and promulgate the rules and regulations of those sports.
